Our menu is inspired by the best traditions of the Maremma, it varies according to the seasons to offer healthier foods, nutritious, appetizing and ecological. We propose always a simple and tasty cuisine, with emphasis on local products and the use of materials of choice. Pastas and desserts are always homemade; vegetables, olive oil, cheeses and wines are carefully selected and purchased in local farms. Among the starters can multimillion from classic Tuscan antipasto consisting of ham, salami, croutons, cheese and artichokes, bruschetta or mixed with various crostini. Continue with rectangles of polenta topped with mushrooms, marinated duck breast with parmesan and arugula and lemon wedge, fillets of wild boar and more.
Regarding the first you’re spoiled for choice: pici countrified, ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach and pappardelle with wild boar. Gnudi (a kind of ravioli without pasta) always with ricotta and spinach from condirein usually with butter and sage, but also with other sauces. Trofie with artichokes and sausage, leek dumplings, bacon and pumpkin, spelled soup. A special mention deserves our acquacotta, prepared according to the Maremma tradition.
Among the latter, we can say, without false modesty, to serve the best wild boar in the area! very tender, cooked to the Maremma or wild fennel. You have to also enjoy our cut of beef with rosemary, arugula or truffle. The excellent roast suckling pig, the rags with olives, artichokes and arugula chicken with herbs. And finally eggplant Parmesan, salt cod Livornese and local cheeses with honey and jam.
The desserts are homemade and often appointed positively by our reviewers on TripAdvisor: “if you do not believe you go to see!” We start with the mousses that we serve in various ways: caramel, chocolate, berry and fruit jams. Cakes: sbriciolona, with ricotta and chocolate chips; apple with custard; chocolate and mascarpone cream. And again: jam tarts with fruit, almond parfait with hot chocolate and nooks with vin santo.
